How do I print an index album of thumbnails for my family photos?
I am scanning my 35mm slides onto a CD. I want to print an index album of the thumbnails with titles as appears in Windows Explore. I have several photo softwares including Adobe Photoship Essentials and Microsoft Picture It!, but I am not a master of any of these. Can anyone give me directions. I have over 1000 slides in one file folder for which I want to create an index.
I often print contact sheets using Windows photo printing wizard.
Navigate to the folder you have your photo stored in and open one of them with the Windows photo viewer, (usually just double clicking it will do the trick) then select the print button at the bottom of the screen. Just keep going through the wizard, choosing the photos you want to include and any other options you want to select. You will come to a screen with different printing options and templates. Select the one labeled contact sheet and it should give you what you want.
