Did I get a good deal on this digital camera?
I wanted a farly decent digital camera (not one of those keychain toys), so I browsed Ebay and a few other sites, but I found a used one in a pawn shop.
It’s a HP Photosmart 935 and I payed $60 for it.
I checked it out in the store and also when I got home and it works great (came with a docking station and an extra memory card (128 meg).
Was it a good deal or should I have kept looking?
Yes, if this is all you need in a camera, then you did get a good deal! I personally am interested in serious photography, so I have a DSLR, and three lenses. But, if your camera has enough MP’s to take good clear pictures, and all you want to do is take snapshots, then it is fine for that. A friend of mine had a small point and shoot like that, and it took AA batteries. He found he had to use rechargeable with it, because regular alkalines had to be replaced several times in one weekend. Also a 128 card is a very small card, and you may find that you want to get a larger one! *sm*
